ONE YEAR ON

I can't quite believe that it's now almost a year since that original entry was published as part of a training session with Anne-Marie. Since then I have visited over half of Scotland's Colleges to promote use of PP through providing a demonstration of the resource. I feel that it sells itself and try to show the wide range of key up to date information now gathered there. The site has provided an excellent resource for providing update on the progress of SCQF - there's no longer a need for powerpoint handouts but rather I feel I leave staff with something more ongoing. Some sessions have been delivered for Care staff but a number have been for a mix of curriculum areas.
Last week Janice and I met the HODs team and their AP at Reid Kerr. We provided information on PP and also BlendEd. The response was very positive with the group giving an undertaking to spread the word on this developing resource across college.
Meetings with staff to discuss the BlendEd project show that many have been informed that the resources are available from COLEG and in some colleges have already been placed on their VLE. Some key information on methodology and additional materials developed to support implementation have not been identified for staff. Janice and I aim to help fill that gap as part of our support function.
